Last Saturday we were invited at friends’ house for an Eritrean dinner and it was DELISH!
Very spicy (the Zighini) and interesting.
Basically the way you eat it is with these layers of bread type stuff (Injera). The Zighini, which is meat in a very spicy sauce is put on the layer of Injera and then you tear off little pieces of Injera and use that as a sort of tweezer to pick up and eat the pieces of meat.
Anyway, we adults (14) had a great dinner and the kids (10) had a fun marathon of watching Back to the Future, Back to the Future 2 and Back to the Future 3!
