New Driving Laws
Italy has introduced a “point”system where each “player” starts out with twenty points. Get caught without your seatbelt you lose 5, drive through a red light: you lose 10, talk on your cell phone WITH your hands, lose another 5 points…, get caught speeding: 10 points.
Once you lose all your points they confiscate your driver’s licence. And to get it back you have to take the driver’s test!
It’s amazing how this game finally gets Italians to wear their seatbelts and slow down! It’s just plain miraculous!
BTW, any points lost are given back after two years.
*uuuh* they stopped me at SMN because i wanted to enter the center-area. what the hell is polizia municipale doing? you can not enter the garage under the train station on entrance near SITA with a long car because its getting grounded. how stupid.
does anybody know an empty room or casa per affiti in the campagna ? i really do not like to live in citycenter anymore… [immigranti, no tourist .-) ]

What a great idea! Over here in the UK, they have a similar system for some things, but I don’t think they include missing seatbelts or talking on your phone.
