Oral Hygiene and my period
I just was at the dentist for my 6 month checkup and my hygienist said “Are you having your period?”
Uhm, yes, actually….
Incredible but she could see by the way my gums were bleeding, different than other times, that I was having my period.
I’ve always known that problems with your teeth and gums can greately influence your entire wellbeing (infections run through your body!). But this was definitely new to me.
Thought this was interesting enough to share with the world
